Herva

Herva, also known as Herve Atsè Corti, is a cornerstone in the world of electronic music, known for his fearless sonic explorations. Herva's moniker may not be bound to a specific genre like IDM, but his work provokes a level of intellectual curiosity akin to the most experimental electronic landscapes. Speaking about his music production, Herva notes, "I find serenity in the chaos, creating mini ecosystems of sound that unfold over time, revealing new facets with each listen." Born in 1991,Herva has been enveloped by music from an early age, thanks to a musically inclined family. Early recognition came from Bosconi Records for his initial works as Herva, as well as Life's Track, acollaborative venture with his long-time friend Dukwa. Beyond solo projects, Herva also founded the open collective Tru West alongside Mass Prod, Rufus, and Raffaele Amenta. Herva enjoys a longstanding relationship with Planet Mu, having released several acclaimed albums like Kila, Hyper Flux and Seez.

These collections serve as experimental canvases where meticulous engineering meets spontaneous creativity, fueled by custom-built hardware and coding environments. He reflects, "The aim isn't to reach a destination but to revel in the process—like a generative artwork that's never the same twice." A hiatus of five years preceded his most recent album, Seez, but Herva has been anything but idle. In the intervening years, he co-founded the hardware design firm Audio Gear Obsession (AGO) and a record label named keR. When asked about his hiatus, he openly shared with Igloo Magazine, "Life happened—my other commitments and family took precedence. But these experiences fuel my evolution in music." Verified trivia about Herva includes his expansive approach to music production, involving custom-built hardware and coding frameworks. This approach serves as the bedrock for his distinctive sound. Meanwhile, Herva retains an air of mystery about the full scope of his experimental methodologies and upcoming projects.
